Late on Saturday morning, the Bank of England cried off, stating they had insufficient players to travel.
The result meant five points four plus the win bonus - for the 1st XV without having to play. That means they are unbeaten this year and now leapfrog Cheshunt to move up to sixth place, although still well behind the top four teams, all from Middlesex. Fifth place Verulamians are within BE's radar although the St Albans based side has a superior points differential.
No game for the 1st XV ths coming Saturday but they are away to Cheshunt on 21st February at 2.15pm.
