...not by the 14 that bothered to make the trip - but by the team mates who let the squad down. A far cry from the squad spirit and camaraderie that was evident at The Champions Dinner on Friday evening which seemed to have evaporated faster than an English Grand Slam.

A trip to Woodford to meet a team sitting undefeated at the top of Essex Division 2. This was always going to be a tough fixture, and for a Barnet squad missing 24 players due to various commitments it was unfortunately mostly one way traffic.

Woodford were good enough to lend the brave few a scrum half to make up their numbers – but the writing was soon on the wall, and the Woodford backs cut loose to lead 31-0 at half time.

A shuffle of the Barnet backs, with Pav moving to the right wing and nullifying the threat of the Woodford left wing and a gutsy show from the remainder limited Woodford to just two tries in the second half.
