BERFC U15's needed to make more use of the advantage of a strong wind in the first half in this game - playing with the elements they did score two excellent try's, both of which were superbly converted from wide out to go into the break 14 nil up away against Royston, leaving the home crowd somewhat quiet & subdued.
However some poor passing & basic errors cost us other opportunities that could have given us a bigger lead before turning round into the elements.
Whilst the wind played a strong part in the second half, Royston also brought on their stronger players including 3 county boys at half time & proceeded to run in 6 try's over the course of the half despite some strong tackling & robust defence by BE's - although we did 'gift' them two of these which gave the final score line a somewhat unflattering look.
