BERFC U15s vs FULLERIANS

Obviously the clocks changing and the early KO made logistics tricky for some players , indeed as the tagline by Al and Oscar suggests , at least they arrived in time for the sausages .

Half term once again meant Barnet were not at full strength but with much stronger oppo in Div 2 Fullerians it was good to see a marked improvement on our last game against Harrow . Despite many players out of position the team looked organised and comms were much better particularly from Reece and Jacob . Callum Bremner Davies at centre showed some good decision making and got really stuck in and kept up with play having been taken out of the forwards .

With Dylan and Cameron back on board we were able to control the central play and once again it was only Barnet getting overlapped on the wings that allowed Fullerians through . Barnet defended well , indeed clearing over the line on 2 occasions maintaining a respectable score line .

Ahead of our critical league game next week we really need to focus on solid passing and maintaining possession . There is still too much lost ball and loose passing . We need to remember the "eyes up" call and look for space , and we still need to press much more effectively .

There were good performances all the boys today in particular from Parsa , Callum , Thomas , Joe and Charlie at 15 but he coaches player of the day goes to Jacob Hofmann for a solid game back at 10 with good comms and some great clearances when it mattered .
