Finchley were really up for it today and once again Barnet were slow out of the blocks . Having already watched and assisted with the preceding U14s game none of that lads looked up for it and Finchley were ahead after only 2 minutes .
Finally getting in their stride it was Harry Joseph who equalised at 20 minutes . Its hard to really find much to say about the play between other than it was scrappy , with the wind making it difficult for both teams and both sides dropping the ball and unable to get it cleanly out of the rucks .
That said the second half was another story and whilst equally intense it was Barnets better fitness that saw them go comfortably ahead not least because of some excellent play from Leevin Ngimbi and Parsa Mohajer . Cameron was unlucky to get a nasty knock putting him out of the game despite being the driving force in the pack .
Player of the day has to go to Harry Joseph who scored a hatrick today with some great driving runs and bloody minded determination .
