BERFC U15 vs ONGAR

Playing Ongar is one of the benchmark games of the season . Not only are they a great bunch of lads but they have the most beautiful pitches .

With ongar short a few players and some of our lads helping out the 14s the opening half was a bit disorganised to say the least and Ongar punished us for it . Indeed they looked well drilled and were out rucking Barnet and winning most of the scrums .

Even Dylan's dogged determination wasn't enough and his eventual try was quickly responded to by Ongar .

Barnet eventually found their feet and a superb try after a great pass by Harry and turn of speed by Thomas NS put Barmet back in the game .

The wind that had been causing so many problems in the first half was in Barnets favour and once again our fitness game is the edge with Barnet looking strong at the final whistle .

Some good effort all round , George with a unique backs move , ducking under the ball and confusing everyone , Leevin and Iketchi for giving it their all , Jacob for a solid half at 9 and nice run from deep setting up Dylans second try and some great conversions as ever from Ted Parker who has now racked up and impressive 111 points with his boot alone .

Player of the day goes to Dylan who looked exhausted having given his all in what we had expected to be a much easier game .
