Some difficult conditions today but a good final SF game vs Beddau

Berfc u15s 19 - 21 Stockwood park

Difficult first game for Barnet who struggled initially getting to grips with the 10s format . Far too much contact and some challenging decisions from the ref saw Barnet's heads go down . After the game the Ref acknowledged this and "overruled" the officials and to Barnets surprise awarded a draw . After presenting " video evidence " Stockwood were re-awarded the win .

Berfc u15s 35 - 12 Enfield

Enfield took an early lead till barnet started finding their feet . A comfortable win but still too much contact .

Berfc u15s 14 - 35 Fullerians

With a few of our stronger players feeling a bit out of sorts Barnet were on the back foot from the off , Fullerians were the stronger team and despite a couple of loose passes , which Josh Binden-Goss capitalised on , looked in control .

Berfc 14 - 21 Beddau

The Semi was another story , playing the Welsh . In the preceding games Beddau had won all their games by big margins and having watched them play it was easy to see why . Simple rugby , quick hands , good comms . Before the start we didm't really have a clear game plan other than to pressure them into making mistakes . And that we did . Everyone stepped up and at half time the score was even with Beddau on the back foot . In the second half some more difficult decisions from the ref saw tempers boil after Barnet were denied what could have been a try scoring opportunity . Beddau were quick to capitalise on this and went 2 tries up . Whilst Barnet eventually regained their composure and scored one back with only 9 mins each way the game was lost , albeit to a great team . Once again respect to Beddau for being great sportsmen today .

Player of the day goes to Joe Gallagher for some good decision making and clean ball as well as a solid boot taking the drop kick conversions. Well done to all the boys for stepping up in the final game and taking it to the best side today and a special shout out to Ted Parker who has finished his season with a hugely impressive 208 points !
