My contact on the pitch - "Helmet" Harris - reports that there were some campanologists, minus the bells, in the opposition team that put a heavy score against the 3rd XV in the Merit Table Cup.
Despite the heavy defeat, BE's move out of the main Cup Competition and transfer to the Plate Competition - they will play Hemel Hempstead away on 14th April in the Semi-Final.
