Training Report -11th November

Some of the players took on the U8's in an end of session match which is becoming a regular fixture to training days. The U8's really do appreciate the match practice. Again some excellent game-play from our players on the much bigger U8 pitch, more space means that direct running and good support play gains results but it's in the tagging that turnovers occur and games are won.

Talking of tagging, that was the focus of training this week, from individual tagging exercises to match play and a bulldog tagging game. Improvement could be seen across all the age groups. Hopefully, this will pay dividends in next week’s game against Tabard.

Well done to Ethan for player of the week. Big change in his game play from last season with more direct running and excellent support play to make himself available for the ball - now scores lots of try’s - keep it up.
