“MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK”
To all club members,
Given the Centenary celebrations planned for the latter half of 2019, the club needs a spruce. A wash down and some painting and decorating is well overdue, so in the time honoured tradition, I’m pulling together a volunteer day to make it happen.
I’m asking for volunteers to spend a few hours on Sunday 7th July scraping, sanding, washing down and painting the clubhouse. No experience or professional skills are required; just some elbow grease and energy! Many hands make light work, so given the club member base, we should be able to make the ol’ girl sparkle in a day - we will aim to start at 10:00 and should be finished by 16:00.
Liquid refreshments will be provided throughout the day, together with a sandwich at lunch. El-Presindente, Shaun, will also buy us all a pint afterwards!
Can you let me know email@example.com so I can get an idea of numbers for tools and refreshments.
