At Barnet Elizabethans RFC (BERFC), we are proud to be the oldest rugby club in Hertfordshire, founded in 1919. With a rich history and an unwavering commitment to excellence, we offer U17 and U18 players an exceptional environment to thrive both on and off the pitch.

The Academy is more than just rugby—it’s about success, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences. Our Academy team has a proud record of achievements, with numerous league and cup victories that reflect the dedication of our players and coaches. Over the years, we have produced many outstanding talents who have gone on to represent the Saracens Academy and England U18 and U20 squads, demonstrating the high standards and opportunities BERFC provides.

We also take pride in our vibrant social culture and the lifelong bonds that form within our teams. Whether it’s celebrating successes, team-building events, or memorable tours, such as our recent trips to destinations like the Isle of Wight and across the UK and Europe, the Academy offers players the chance to create memories that last a lifetime.

At BERFC, we believe in developing well-rounded individuals—building character, resilience, and leadership skills alongside rugby talent. If you’re in Year 12 or 13 (6th or 7th year of secondary school), join us for the 2026/27 season and become part of a legacy that is over a century in the making.
