London New Zealand v Barnet Elizabethans - Postponed
For the third Saturday running and the second time for this fixture (original game 19th January was postponed due to snow), the 1st XV had their game postponed due to ground conditions.
The snow of the previous two Saturdays was replaced by a waterlogged LNZ ground and the home Club was unable to find an alternative and fit venue for the game. So, third time lucky, LNZ v BE will take place on 16th March. That was the date scheduled for the Hitchin v BE fixture in the Hertforshire Tankard so that game goes by the board unless County tries to persuade the two sides to play a "double header" on 23rd February when BE are at home to the North Hertfordshire side.
The downside of not playing - the only game that was called off in their League - was that the 1st XV dropped down a place in the League Table with Wasps overtaking them but having played two more matches. Five points cover three teams in the middle of the Table.
This Saturday, weather and ground conditions permitting, the 1st XV are away to Imperial Medicals at Teddington. KO is 2.30pm.
